I had to blog today. I was going to send a special birthday message to the next president of the United States of America, Barack Obama, when I noticed that he was in Lansing, Michigan today. The birthplace of yours truly! So below is the video of his speech today in Lansing regarding energy efficiency [...]

Yesterday marked the 39th annual Chicago Pride Parade. Normally I would be in attendance, sitting on a curb with a luke-warm cocktail or beer, cheering on the gays as they paraded by. This year, however, was different. Instead of taking a seat as a spectator, I was part of the marching contingent in this years [...]

Obviously I’m not and obviously I don’t have to explain this video. If you were, perhaps, thinking of voting for John McCain (Bush Lite), then this video might be of some use to you.
More from the filmmaker here.

I thought today, as the dust settles from the marathon finish that was the Democratic Primary season, would be a good time to revisit my first Barack moment. I remember watching the speech above and saying to myself, “this man might be president someday.” I’m not sure anyone thought it would be this soon, but [...]

I have to say, this has been one of the more entertaining elections in a long time. I am, as I imagine most of you are, ready for this fiasco to be over though. Today we took another large step towards having a democratic nominee as the Rules Committee of the DNC met for hours [...]

With the democratic primary season coming to an end, I’ve noticed a lot of hurt feelings on both sides of the contest. For weeks leading up to these final contests, both sides have uttered the words, “If my candidate doesn’t win, I’m voting for McCain.” I would be lying if I said i never had a [...]

I know a lot of people think video’s like this are cheesy or meaningless, but i find it quite inspiring. I’m also a big fan of Levi Kreis, which makes this song even better. Though I have stated I intend on supporting a Democrat in November, I’m really hoping for an Obama nomination. He has inspired [...]
