Kicking it old school this morning with a little When In Rome. This song never fails me. I’m not sure I ever posted this video back in the day when I did Sunday Throwback. It’s been in my head for over a week now, if not longer. Happy Humpday!

I’m really upset. All I wanted this morning was to find the video of Tender Love by The Force M.D.s. It’s from 1985 and I’m pretty sure was in some crazy movie’s soundtrack. As I described weeks ago, it’s been increasingly hard to find a video that you can actually embed on a blog. I wasn’t actually able to find this video at all. The best I could do is give you Alicia Keys awesome cover of it, and then let you at least hear the original below. Oh well! Happy Memorial Day! 

Remember De La Soul? I totally forgot about this song, but thanks to random searches on youtube I remembered it. The song is Buddy from 1989 and you may not remember it. If you don’t, give it a listen because it rocks! Happy Sunday!

After a fantastic and fun filled week in NYC, I’m off to Boston. No vacation blogging today as yesterday consisted of me nursing the worst hangover of my life. My sister will be running the Boston Marathon on Monday, so in honor of her I had to post some journey. Here’s a little Don’t Stop Believing for you.

Omg, I woke up this morning and remembered I had a blog! Isn’t that exciting?

A few days ago I watched one of my childhood favorites, The NeverEnding Story and wanted to fine the theme song. I was hoping to find some cheesy fan-made video with the theme song. I ended up finding the actual video to the song done by Limahl. I had no idea that there was a video to this song and had even less of an idea that it’d be so terrible! Limahl was the lead singer of the 80s band Kajagoogoo, if you’re unfamiliar.

I suppose we learn something every day, especially when we remember to blog.

Toto is one of my favorite groups from the 80s and I really love this song. However, this video is absolutely terrible. I’m not sure I remembered how bad it was until this morning when I went searching for it. I used to have this song as my ringtone on my phone!
