The above video is a clip from Fox News America’s Newsroom from 8/13/08 discussing the recent addition of a transgender woman to America’s Next Top Model. The first transgender contestant on the show has caused quite a stir and received much attention in the news. Naturally, Fox News used the story as another opportunity to spread their [...]

It has to be depressing to be a Republican right now. I’m sure McCain supporters will pass this video off as merely a collection of minor gaffes that attempt to overshadow what a charismatic and moving leader he really is, but they’re wrong. The McCain you saw speaking awkwardly in front of the green monster [...]

If John McCain wants people to believe he’s not running for Bush’s third term, he should stop taking lessons from Karl Rove’s dirty textbook. His latest ad has my jaw dropping to the floor as we speak. I have some major problems with this ad. First of all, the “lightning striking down…you should vote for [...]

Wow, Republicans are getting might desperate aren’t they? This ad campaign comes to us from the Washington State Republican Party, with the intention on helping Washington “welcome” Michelle Obama. It really amazes me how completely juvenile this ad is. The women starring in this ad are perceived to be important members of the Republican Party and they’re acting like robots.
Don’t these [...]

If you haven’t seen the interview (or heard the soundbites) from yesterday’s New York Times interview with Sen. John McCain, then you’re in for a treat. The “moderate” Republican Senator offered this gem when asked about his position on gay and lesbians adopting children. Courtesy of NY Times.
Q: President Bush believes that gay couples should not be [...]

Ok, I’m well aware that Barack Obama isn’t perfect. And for the record, I never thought he was. However, watching the video above makes me completely amazed that anyone would want to vote for this joker. The Senator is being asked a very legit question by the reporter. Why is it that insurance companies will [...]

Yesterday marked the 39th annual Chicago Pride Parade. Normally I would be in attendance, sitting on a curb with a luke-warm cocktail or beer, cheering on the gays as they paraded by. This year, however, was different. Instead of taking a seat as a spectator, I was part of the marching contingent in this years [...]

Today marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City. On June 28, 1969, members of the NYPD entered the Stonewall Inn with a warrant investigating illegal alcohol sales. Though the bar had been raided frequently, that evening proved to be different. As many in and outside the bar began to fight back [...]

Obviously I’m not and obviously I don’t have to explain this video. If you were, perhaps, thinking of voting for John McCain (Bush Lite), then this video might be of some use to you.
More from the filmmaker here.

I found this video on a number of blogs this morning and had to share. It’s a little ditty about the double talking, not straight talking, John McCain. As you can quickly see, it’s very reminiscent of the old School House Rock videos. The video is courtesy of Lunatics and Liars. Pretty cute!
I grew up [...]
