Who I Am
Gay Cousin Teddy (me) is more formally known as Theodore Leonard Jay. However, everyone except my mother calls me Teddy. I’m a 28 year old queer from Chicago, Illinois. This blog is a place for me to share and talk about things I find fun, interesting, provocative, and important.
Input, comments, and feedback are always appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Hey Teddy,
My name is Avry and I represent the Q Voices Project, a study for queer youth ages 14-19 through the University of Washington. We’ve created an online, anonymous survey for queer youth to learn more about their experiences being young and queer. We also want to get a better sense of what kinds of resources they would like to see created in their community. We ask about everything from their experiences with the family, to school to sex and religion. Go to http://www.qvoices.org to learn more about our group, and the survey.
I’m writing to you in the hopes that you might help get the word out about our study on your blog. Gay Cousin Teddy is really well read and, if you’d be willing, I’m sure we’ll be able to reach queer youth whom we otherwise would not be able to. Thanks in advance for your support!

Hey Teddy,
William and I would love to have you on the show sometime. We love other opinions from people!
Hope we can have you on some time!

Hi,
I’m writing from Calling for Equality, a California initiative to help overturn Proposition 8. This initiative is headquartered and focused on the key battleground county of San Diego but is active statewide. We are working to gain visible opposition to Proposition 8 across all levels of government, news media, and minority communities.
We would like to ask for either a link exchange or even for a blog post about us! A sample blog post is provided on CallingForEquality.com/article.htm for convenience.
The California Supreme Court will rule in the Spring, so we are pushing as hard as we can in the next four months. Posting an article or a link will make a meaningful difference as we gather more support for our efforts!
