Sure our Olympic victory over Canada in hockey was brilliant and stunning. However…these girls are quite right. Canada still kind of kicks ass. I have nothing but love for my northern neighbors.
But I don’t pay 34.29% of my income to the government for that healthcare either.
If you make $41,000 a year in Vancouver BC you would pay over a third of your income to taxes. I currently pay 15%, but get most back thanks to the Bush tax cuts.
One last point. If their healthcare is worth cheering for then why did their prime-minister come to the US for surgery? READ HERE
