Thanks for the comment. I agree completely. I think Adam has probably opened up some hearts and minds with regards to his honesty. Perhaps more positive "out" people will help those whom are struggling with this issue come to their senses. One can only hope.

If Gene truly hoped that he was wrong about Adam's reveal he would not have made the "it killed his career... in an instant" remark, or dare if you will.

gaycousinteddy, your proposed answer is eloquent and appropriate, but Gene is not capable of this. He is pessimistic about society as a whole, and from a different time and mindset, a generation once-removed from total segregation and prejudice regarding race, creed, orientation, and so on.

I will say that Adam's openness and admirable character has opened the minds and hearts of countless people who really had not previously given much serious thought to this issue because we might not have had to deal with it personally. I'm one of those enlightened people.

You know, before Adam I never gave Gene Simmons a thought either, and from this moment on I never again will lend an ear to what he has to say. I will, however, continue to watch the Adam-Kiss Medley and enjoy every minute of it because Adam was having a great time!

BTW, what led me to your site is that you are linked to....that Music Beat site. "Sam" posted an article on Adam there in which he blatantly accused him of lying regarding the Hi-Fi/Wilshire bs. This was not well-received by Adam's growing fanbase. I linked to you as I was checking to see how viral it was through the affiliates of Music Beat.

Bye, take care.

...and add part of one of the most over-rated bands in history. He is a smart business man in the sense that he merchandised all that he could with his band's name on it, but I think you are less shock rock when your image is on a lunchbox.
