Let me bring you back for a minute. Before the annoying duo of K-Ci and Jo-Jo came along, there was the R&B trio known as Jodeci. I much prefer the Haily brothers in their earlier days to the super poppy crap they produced as K-Ci and Jo-Jo. I digress…
I was referencing this performance the other day to a friend of mine and had to post it today. MTV produced this really fierce version of Unplugged in 1993 with Mary J. Blige, Father MC, Heavy D, and others. The above video is a performance from that show, featuring Jodeci covering Stevie Wonder’s Lately. It rocks.
