Straight Cousin Lisa
Credit should always be given when credit is due. It is in that spirit, that I feel it necessary to explain the root of this blog. Gay Cousin Ted was a nickname given to me by a dear friend in New York City named Lisa. In a nutshell, Lisa dated my cousin for a while and she and I became good friends. Through the last few years, she’s been my biggest cheerleader for all of my writing projects (and there have been many). When I decided to start blogging again, i naturally consulted her on a name for my new site. After a couple days of discussion, it came back to Gay Cousin Ted, the original idea. She’s the first one to read my blogs, so it’s fitting that the name gives a wink back at her. Of course, nowadays i prefer the name Teddy…just in case you were confused.
as my own shout out to teddy, tonight i watched american idol. perhaps it would be better if he was on it.
Did you know when you google gay cousin teddy the third site that comes up is about harry potter? I thought it was funny.
